Brisbane Wildlife


Queensland, and the area in and around Brisbane, is a terrific environment for wildlife photography. There's a diverse and readily accessible range of wildlife to view and hone your skills. The gallery below is a small sample of images taken since I've been living here.
Grey-headed Flying Fox (Pteropus poliocephalus) eating flower nectar and covered in pollen. This is an old photo and technically very flawed - but gets re-used a lot in educational publications talking about ecology, forests and pollen distribution.
